EURAPS YOUNG PLASTIC SURGEON SCHOLARSHIPS

Eligibility

Candidates must be European citizens (Eastern European Countries included) and have obtained the speciality in Plastic Surgery (or Board). The maximum age is 37 years.

Conditions

The three-month scholarship must be used up before the end of the following year.
There will be three scholarships available in 2004. The amount is € 3.300 for each scholarship.

EURAPS/AAPS Fellowship

Eligibility

Candidates must be fully accredited (EC) and actively practising plastic surgery in Europe for less than 10 years. They must be able to communicate well in both written and spoken English.

Conditions

One fellowship per year will be awarded by EURAPS. The fellowship must be completed before the end of the following year. A forfeit allowance of € 6000, travel included, will be granted.

Conditions for Competing

Candidates must be active members of EURAPS or must have presented at least one paper at a EURAPS Meeting and be sponsored by two EURAPS members, one from his/her own country and one from another country.(Letters of recommendation can be sent by e-mail or regular mail.). Age limit is 45 years.
Award of 5,000 euro, from 2005 onwards.
The Award is exclusively aimed at those European countries which are represented in EURAPS.

Canniesburn Plastic Surgery Fellowship

for periods ranging from one to three months. Visiting clinical fellowships are financed either by the applicant or their home University or Institution.
